Schon eine Weile hatte ich Medienkunst-
Installationen gemacht und auf einigen
Ausstellungen zeigen können. Mein
Ansatz war das Spiel mit dem
Material – mit Licht. Ästhetisch-
poetische Momente einfangen.
I made artistic installations before starting the
research year at iamas. My main interest was the
work with light as an aesthetical element. But I
saw difficulties to translate my ideas only by
aesthetical moments or moods. My work
»to bernardo to são paulo« is dealing with a social
issue more than the work I made before.
This work is introducing the person
Bernardo, living in São Paulo. It is talking
about is daily life, his wishes, his
pleasure and his fear, but I see
difficulties in the way I use a
social issue for my
artistic work.
