Ein paar Tage lief ich durch Minamata.
Meine Hoffnung, allein durch die Anwesenheit
an diesem Ort würde sich etwas klären,
erfüllte sich nicht. Der Ort selbst hat keine
ästhetische Qualität, die das
Geschehene ins Künstlerische
übersetzen könnte.
I was strolling around in Minamata for some
days. The wish, to capture an idea of
representation of the events of a
location only by the presence,
became unreal. The location
itself don*t has an aesthetical
quality, which could be
translated easily into
an artistic postion.
