Ich sah das Werksgelände der Firma Chisso
und die verschiedenen Minamata Museen,
ich sah behinderte Menschen. Doch auch
die offizielle Aufbereitung des Themas
ensprach nicht meinen Empfindungen
dazu. Eine plötzliche Eingebung,
wie zu einer künstlerischen
Präzision oder Übersetzung,
stellte sich weiterhin
nicht ein.
I visited the area of the Chisso company,
I visited the several musems of Minamata,
I saw handicaped people. The official
information about the Minamata
desease was not fitting with
my idea of the artistic work.
In Minamata there is no
representation of
Minamata in daily
life.
